Birds Attack

I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this. I was at the beach with my local drone club, and myself and one other person was flying an I2. The birds, looked like seagulls, tried to attack our I2's. The birds didn't care about the mavics and fpv drones. Anyone know why?
