I know Inspire 1 drones in USA operate on a different frequency to the Inspire 1 drones in South Africa. Would this hold true when it comes to it's parts, for example the camera's? I'm considering getting a X5 camera from the UK / USA / Canada (depending in where it can be had at the best price).

i would think a camera is just a camera it send the signal to the drones ncore which then broadcast the signal back to the RC.

now i may be wrong but to me i see no difference

The cameras send no RF signal and simply communicate via hardwire link.
The Aircraft/Remote will adjust frequency and TX power appropriately based on geographic location.
A camera from one part of the world can be freely swapped with one from another.
The only caveat being that firmware should be consistent.
