Ok guys I noticed tonight before I connected my camera gimbal that the two gold pins to the left if your facing the front of the i1 were bent into each other and one of the little plastic bumps that helps you line everything up is broken off and gone so I just wanted to for warn everyone to be very careful with how you attach the gimbal because apparently it doesn't take much to screw the gimbal up! Look and make sure everything is in line before attachment! Think god I seen it before I powered on my i1 it could have been bad at that point!

A replacement board for the gimbal connector is available from DJI. Costs about 30 bucks. Or 23 quid in UK. Easy to fit and solves the problem. I have a spare one just in case of damage
