D-Log & ProRes?

No d log can be recorded to the solid state drive. Yes file limits are limited to 4gb. When you hit record, the files will be inside a folder on the drive in succession until you stop recording. When you start a new recording a new folder is created. You can also organize each recording by selecting a, b, c , d, etc. inside your editing software they care connected easily and run as one long video without dropped frames. I actually prefer this as the clips are split up and easier for to work with. If you shoot in cinemaDNG, and use the free version of resolve to convert your files, it automatically connects all split up files and mends them together as one as soon as you import them. You then have much more control over the image data before converting to proress, so this is the recommended workflow for the highest quality. If you want to work with 5k cinemaDNG, then unfortunately you have to purchase the full version of resolve.
