i just bought a used inspire. it had crashed into a roof and broke the camera. I got a new camera and now the remote wont find the drone. I know the remote is good and so is the app. Ive used them on my other working inspire. i checked the firmware and it says its up to date. which component is it that links to the remote? power board? light bridge? the drone powers on and the camera does its little dance.

This sounds like a firmware mismatch. When the drone was still connecting, which firmware version was installed in the drone and the remote?
That said, have you tried re-pairing the drone to the remote?

Thanks. When i put the firmware disk in , it does its beeping thing and the camera moves around then it makes a steady beep. when i checkm the results it says ,same firmware version. I also did the red button repairing but no go. IT did hit a roof previously and broke the camera. maybe theres a hardware issue..

Which firmware are you trying to install? (Or have installed?) And which firmware version is the Remote Control?

x3 from my other inspire 1 v2 but after I tried installing version 1.10150 my text files indicates that the drone did not in fact update since 2016. Its not taking the new update?
When I put the x3 back into the other inspire it works perfect and is on the latest firmware.

If the X3 and the drone firmwares are mismatched, the X3 won't function.
What regimen are you using to roll back the firmware?

I havent rolled back the firmware. Im just trying to update it to the newest version..Have you used win 11 to update firmware?. It might not be working right
I dont know if I mentioned that when you go on the app and bring up overall status under version it read N/A.

I recommend against that for a few reasons, but that's another topic for another day.
You shouldn't be using a PC to update the firmware.

when I took out the micro sd card and put it in the computer and opened the text file it read 2024 version 1.50 success. but that was befor the guy crashed.
