V1 or V2? Any crashes. Type of batteries?
Good morning it is v2 comes with x3 camera . Also the 3 batteries say TB48 and are” 5700mAh “ never crashed (literally not even a scratch or dust on this thing ) and was just brought to DJI dealer in Costa Mesa for all new firmware updates on 1/17/18. Ready for flight

Just wanted to make sure to point out it’s actually a V1. You have the standard X3 gimbal plate on the craft. That’s the telltale sign for those that don’t know how to distinguish.
also the battery tray sticker will say Inspire 1 V2.0 with T601 under

Correct me if I’m wrong ...... the aircraft is the exact same: if x3 camera is on bird... only difference is some firmware .

no the mounting plate on the V1 is the small one. on the V2 is the x5 board. the birds them selves are the same but V2 is new carbon fiber pattern, udated stronger motors, and the X5 board

This has been an ongoing thread now maybe someone can clear the air. I’ll be calling local DJI to see if someone can clarify

Your search shows Inspire 1 V2 compared to a Inspire 1 Pro. The difference between those two are the cameras. Between the V1 and V2 are going to be potentially different looking carbon arms from the camo (like you have) to the traditional carbon weave most people think of when envisioning carbon fiber. Other differences include different motors and ESCs supposedly (will say 3510H on the end bell) but the biggest and easiest difference to notice is the camera mounting plate. I’m almost 100% that’s a V1 you have posted but in my opinion one isn’t any better than the other. You can just carry an X5/X5R with the V2 plate.

The carbon weave arms are replacement arms or late build 601s. I’d tell you the model but your pic is to blurry. That has the v1 prop locks on it also.

The difference in the carbon pattterns. also in my opinion the X5 vibration board is better has the board rest on the rubber dampers and acts like shocks, apposed to the X3 board which hangs from the body stretching the dampers.
It may be possible you have a very early V2. but everything else visual is saying V1

Possibly I wanna say it’s a early v2.. I have the carbon in the illustration on the left. Either way for sale still as we speak has less than 5 hours of flight on this baby

If it is in fact a V2.0, it will say so in the DJI Airframe ID Pad located under where the Battery mounts. If it doesnt say V2.0 T601 then it isnt a V2. Here is an example:
The first pic is of a V2 Inspire 1.
The second Pic is of a V1.0 T600 Inspire 1.
Always check the Pad, it's the only real way to tell what you have and what your verification is.

Ok the plate alone will not tell as DJI shipped V2 with both T600 and T601 model numbers as I have owned both.

If it says T601 or V2.0 then it’s a V2, it will also have 1510 in the FCC number on a V2 compared to 1410 on the V1, If it says T600 then it could still be a V2 as DJI shipped them with the older stickers for a month and caused us all arguments for months over this and the only way to tell for sure is look at the motors if it has the newer gimbal plate fitted.

V2 Motors have the writing on the motors out the outer top edge of the bell and have 3510H model number, if it has this model on the motors then it’s a V2.

Possibly related but i just bought a used Inspire on Ebay last week, fellow claimed he runs a drone inspection service in the lower 48, his Ebay description said it was an Inspire 1V2, i bidded on that assumption.
Took two weeks by parcel post to ship to me in Alaska, during that time i was planning on buying the X5 camera and accessories. But then i too looked in the battery tray, its T600, no numbers on motor, its the OSB style Carbon fiber strand and the smaller damping plate.
I was too new at this to really know what to look for, i believed it to be the V2 because it had the 1345S props. Not really pissed off because i did get a good deal anyway its just that it wasn't described properly.
