Dynamic Home Point - auto follow?

I was pretty sure the dynamic home point feature, when set to the controllers location needed to be reset if you change location but taking another look at the manual, I wonder if I've got that wrong and the home point will actually "follow" the controller.

Anyone tried this to know for sure?

It is not a "follow me" function. Home Point can be updated after launch, but must be done manually. The manual has been wrong since Inspire was released.
