Can I check if being unable to power up while having the I1 inside a no fly zone still valid?

Because I just did a flight as per normal within a no fly zone. The app does register it and indicated that I am in a no fly zone. But when I tried to fire it up, it just went as normal. (Is not that I am posing any hazard, just hovering around to proof a point)

Any take? I am on DJI Go app but older I1 firmware since Jun.

Location
Easter Island, Pacific Ocean.
I live on the rim of the no fly zone.
If AC locate home inside... no startup engines in the red zone, unless you are indoors or cold fast take off.
Anyway the gps and the restrictions gonna kick in. AC will auto land.
Outside the rim is only up to 20mts for a while. The no fly zone projects itself on a pyramidal angle. The distant you are. .. more altitude to fly. Easy.
If you hit the No Fly Zone is a wall. Both on top and in front of you. The AC SIMPLY ENCOUNTERS A BOUNDARY WALL.
Not sure why that was possible. ...
I'm on android 4.2.2 and every app must react the same.

Please respect no fly zones.
