The raw 4k file doesn't play back smooth. It kind of plays back like a time lapse but I just thought that was how it plays back in 4k. I haven't tried 1080p yet.

Is that not normal? When I convert it to 1080p or load it into my editor it plays back normal but I notice that slight glitchiness every second.

4K should play smooth unless your computer is not powerful enough or your player software is doing strange things (for example VLC if the flight data subtitles are present and enabled will freeze every second, disable subtitles and it's fine again)

I will look into this. My gh4 plays back smooth but the inspire footage stops every second so it might be that.

Anything to do with frame rate if converting from 4k to 1080p? Both fps are the same I assume (input and output file).
