Format Data Recorder Failed

When clicking on the Format data recorder option in DJI Pilot, I get the error "Format Data Recorder Failed". Anyone else got this? Is there a fix? Thx.

Me too! I try to format it when the bird is not connected and it fails. When I turn the bird off, the option disappears...
Apparently, some of the new options with the ios and firmware updates are only for the Phantom 3. The firmware does not recognize what drone you are flying. A little confusing IMO.

Uh, the flight data recorder is in the bird, so how would you expect it to work if the bird is not connected?

Very true. It only fails when I'm connected to the bird and it's powered on and I've connected my Mac to the bird. The drive appears correctly and I can access the files in it, but the format function fails.

Oops, I miss typed. The option to format data recorder disappears when the bird is ON.
