FYI: Inspire 1 Remote gets Hot

I just wanted to inform you all that the remote where the USB and other ports are located get pretty hot. I don't have anything to test the temperature but felt that you guys should be aware of it, I'm not saying this is a bad thing but curious to know why that is and how that would affect hot summer days.

Yeah I agree, it gets quite hot. It's not great, but hopefully it won't be an issue.

i didn't notice that. interesting. that is where the gps is located so i am not surprised..but if it gets too hot it would need heat sinks or heaven forbid,a fan i guess.
how hot would you say? just quite warm? or uncomfortably hot?
and was that after only one flight? i doubt it is an issue unless it feel really hot to the touch.

Mine gets pretty warm and I haven't even flown mine yet it's prob 85 degrees. Maybe more. Reminds me of my iPhone with hotspot running gets toasty.

Might also be the LB, those get hot, especially without circulation.

Remember that the area we are talking about also includes a GPS unit. Lots of stuff going on there.
