H265 files not readable

Hi,

I am facing a weird issue. All the clips I shot today are not readable... On VLC I got a solid image, but nothing else. I filmed the day before, same settings, everything was fine. I made some test, and I found out it's only when I am shooting in H265 that files are illegible... Any clue why this happens? I precise that I can watch faulted clips on the Go app without any trouble.

H.265 is a new codec, and as a result, it is not very widely supported. Modern editors like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve will definitely support them, but others may not.

What is "nothing else" that can view them?

rename your .mov files to .mp4... Premiere Pro will then recognize it.

It's just an image, I have no error message with VLC, but it cannot read the video. There is just a solid picture from the clip that is displayed.
