Any public safety agency here requires their flight crews to wear hard hats when flying?

Just thought - hard hat in construction site would be required, and i expect if you were working in the warm or hot zone in a major incident where other agencies were using hats

Yes, I was thinking more of flight crews operating around a 20 lb. Matrice 600 and the wisdom of head protection.

Not at my agency.. Just reflective vests for RPIC and VO.. I would think no, because they don't want flying over people.. I NEVER fly over anyone, even ones in my Operational Group.. I go around them. They are usually in a perimeter position anyway, so I am flying in the middle.. If its a SWAT situation, they have big hard hats on.. LOL...
