I've taken my Inspire 1 abroad twice now and Iceland was on my list. I was a bit hesitant at first. Mostly because of the way I have seen airport ground staff handle suitcases so a quality Peli flight case was a must.
On both trips I've sent my checked in case through the "oversized luggage" service. I was also worried about how airport security would react to my seven TB47's neatly packed away in LIPO bags but all was fine. At Naples airport they didn't even inspect them but the UK and Iceland airport security screened and checked each one.
