New Inspire pilot here, v1.2 ( 1.0 with upgraded prps & mounts).
Bought it used, after I received it I updated it to 1.9 in the craft and 1.7 in the RC ( the latest firmware ). I have an iPhone 6 with iOS10, DJI GO 3.0 everything up to date.
Went flying with it and my heart stopped : I had the dreaded image freezing problem. Since I was not aware what it was, I thought I had bought a lemon. A very expensive lemon.
So I searched and the obvious path was to downgrad the aircraft to 1.8 and the RC to 1.6 but I just bought an iPad Air 2 so I decided to make one last flight ( in one thread I saw that the freezing stopped with an Air2 ) and.... voilá.
Everything works like a charm.
Aircraft still on 1.9 and RC on 1.7 ( the latest firmwares ) and with the Air2+new cable, everything is smooth, live video is ok, did a 3.8km return flight, just dropped the image for 0.5 secs, mantained video feed and control all ok during flight.
