My inspire 1 is showing on the go app as being disconnected as well as the Gimbal shown as not connected.

The yellow light is flashing non stop on the inspire. I was upgrading the inspire 1 to the latest version. Got the correct beeps to start with then the ones to say finnished followed by the yellow light flashing none stop.

I have no control over anything on the inspire.

Not sure where to go from here. The X3 camera works fine on the Osmo. No image in the go app from the camera at all.

When I tried to update the controller, I was getting no blue light. Nothing on the card to show the upgrade status.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

What does the txt file on the SD card say? It should tell you if the update was successful. If not successful, then try re-doing the update.

The txt file had multiple dates with different results. Some saying version is same as or older than the version I am trying to update to update.

I have tried again to see if I can give a txt file result. The bird on turning on with sd card inserted. The camera swings around, I get the initial sound that goes with the camera when switched on but is making no downloading noises. Yellow light is blinking repeatedly very fast.

Very frustrating. Is there a way to go back to previous firmware?.

Cheers

It looks like the aircraft has upgraded to the latest firmware, which firmware is the controller on? That will have to be upgraded through the GO App if not on the latest firmware. Then you may have to link manually by pressing the red button inside the nose of the inspire. See the DJI linking instructions for this.

I thought I would delete Dji go from my iPad air 2. Then re download. I done this, after which I cant get the inspire setting to open the pilot app.
I took off the X3 camera, connected to my Osmo. Which opened no problem in the go app. image there and all functions working. Back onto the inspire. The controller light is green when the inspire is on at the same time, turn off the inspire and the controller light goes red. That suggests to me that they are paired. I may be wrong.

Cheers

Did the linking as per the instruction. No green light. as soon as I pressed the camera setting nob, the led on the controller blinks blue non stop, with an audible bleebing.

lete the app and re install. I now can not get the app to open for the inspire as it is not connecting. Works ok with the same X3 camera off of the inspire on my Osmo.

Yes , My P4 is the same is there a way we can reset the controller and tablet to start all over ? I have to set my p4 back . DJI think the controller is damaged . Never got to fly it .

The inspire 1 is amazing. I have had mine for like 2 years. always updated no problem. I am seriously frustrated at the thought of not having the use of it. I was designing some ir illuminators for to attache to the inspire. I plan on using a CCTV camera that I use for night vision builds that I make. I would recommend an inspire for sure. I only have the X3 camera that came with the inspire 1. Was my first ever quadcopter. I have amazing footage taken with it. Unfortunately living so high up in the hills of the Scottish Borders. I can not upload video to Youtube. I pay a fotune for satellite broadband with low monthly usage.

Still having no luck. yellow light flashing on inspire really fast none stop. Can not get the go app to open on my iPad air 2 at all for the inspire. Works for the Osmo but nothing for the inspire, no Camera view option. All I get is How to connect option.

I did the gs_ofdm.bin to the RC.still nothing. The light on the RC does turn green when the inspire is turned on and back to Red when turned off. When I move the left stick the camera moves left and right slightly. There has to be some communications with the RC.

I'm feeling your pain. Almost exactly what happened with me. App is suggesting firmware upgrade so I did on the controller, and AC. The AC now blinks yellow fast and controller is solid green, with app showing no signal. If I try the linking button it will not go into countdown. I have tried to reinstall the app as well (android) the AC gives me almost exactly same print out after attempting upgrade.
Hope someone has a good answer

FIXED !!!!!
I called DJI support and was told by Jason that I had a defective USB and that I needed to send in the RC and the aircraft, UGH. Long story in between...... and got VERY frustrated with DJI "support" so I called back and asked for my problem to be escalated. I got Nick on the phone and he was relentless that he was going to fix my problem, that it was a firmware problem and not a hardware problem. Well after over an hour with NIck and trying many different fixes, he go it !!!!
So I have to say my opinion of the DJI support has changed. Nick was very pleasant and focused to make sure I was going to be a satisfied customer. Not only did he fix my issue but he called back an hour later to make sure the final updates were successful and everything was working properly.

Are you not sharing how you got it fixed Mike. Would help others.

I have been told and shown in a video sent to me, when you open the DJI go app and yo swipe to the inspire image to open camera. If the inspire 1 in the image is facing straight on to you, you are connected via USB. If the inspire 1 is facing to the left slightly, you have no USB connection. To tsee this, whilst having the inspire 1 facing you straight on, remove the USB from the RC and you will see the inspire 1 image move from straight on to slightly left side on.
For my situation this tells me that using 3 different cables. the inspire still faces to the left. Bad USB port I have.

It's not that I don not want to share, I do not want to confuse anyone because it was a long and tedious process, that is why I said who helped me. The final reset we did was through the app on the home page in the top right corner. Please call support and ask for the elevated support ( Nick was great if you can get him) or you can hit 4 in the options. It sounds like the initial support level is not trained on this or other resets we tried, they sent me a gs file for resetting the RC but did not work.
