Irregular Failure?

Just had my Inspire 1 v2.0 drop out of the sky during a pre-job inspection... Battery was at 40%, was about 6' off the ground in my garage and suddenly I got a motor overload warning and as I was descending it suddenly dropped out of the sky landing on two front gear and shattering the white leg pieces into well...pieces. What I'm wondering is, if I hand catch it tomorrow - could it still fly?

Probably a hand catch would hinder the crash, but it would not resolve the electrical failure with regard to the motor.
Personally I don't think you would have had time to hand catch the Inspire safely in that particular situation.
Sad the Inspire did what it did.
