I've been searching around for a list of all of the I1 firmware versions, but I can't seem to find a complete list anywhere. I know that there are new versions since 1.4.0.10, but DJI doesn't seem to be posting the files or notes to the I1 downloads page on their website... Did DJI say they only want folks to do updates via the DJI GO APP now, too?

Anywho, if anyone can post a list of the versions since 1.4.0.10, that would be appreciated. Bonus points if you have release notes.

Cheers.

There is no newer public release version for normal I1 since 1.04.00.10.

There is only a version for Inspire Pro 01.00.00.30 which consists of 1.04 and 1.05 parts.

And there is 1.05.00.11 which is SDK beta firmware needed/recommended for 3rd party apps like Lichti and Ultimate flight. Release notes only contain what DJI wants you to know about the changes. As the files are encrypted no one knows what changes are actually installed.

Main differences between these versions are ESC and camera firmware.

If you mean you want the actual .bin files you will be unable to go back prior v1.2.1.06 in any case.

Have you been able to find the update notes for 1.0.0.30? I have the pro but afraid to update without the notes (I got burned with my Phantom when I didn't read carefully). My aircraft reads latest and flies fine but I know there is later version. Spent 45 min waiting on DJI last night and finally gave up.

Sorry. *1.00.00.30. Still early.

I think what he is referring to is the ZIP download file for 1.00.00.30 does not contain an update notes as previous. I just got the Pro. New to Inspire but have Phantom 3 pro. I screwed up an update on P3 so I don't change unless app requires or I read notes. I'm not getting anything through app that guides update.

I think there dont exist DJI update notes for 1.00.00.30. I also think you have this installed already otherwise your camera should show something different.

PS: be sure they sent you the new 1510 version as a pro, actually they made the first batch out of 1410 (difference: 5dBm = almost double range). Under the battery will be written the FCC ID which is different due to the heavy dBm changes and will tell you which version it is.

Can't figure why app doesn't say so. See picture.

?? The app says exactly this. The 1.00.00.30 firmware will show as 1.04.00.10 in the app (no matter it consists 1.05 parts) and your camera show as 1.00.00.30. If you would have installed older firmware your camera would show as 1.00.00.29 or less.

I think you may be. All I was looking for is a list of the firmware versions, like what @Machoman posted. Getting to see release notes for the firmware versions since 1.4.00.10 would have just been a bonus.

I'm currently on 1.4.00.10,(I have a regular I1) and my APP is asking me to update, so I was just looking for a list of FW versions to figure out which firmware my APP is trying to get me to upgrade to. I think I read somewhere that DJI isn't going to be posting the firmware updates to their website anymore (the page I referenced in my OP and what @The Editor linked as well), and they want you to use the DJI GO APP to do firmware upgrades from now on... Can someone confirm that firmware updates have to be done via the APP? Any idea what version my APP is trying to get me to go to?

To make it more complicated ;) there are now two firmware bins. ONE for the plane and ONE for the RC.

What your app asks is probably for the RC. It asks you to install 1.04.00.30 for the RC. And unfortunately NO RC FIRMWARE has any relese notes, there may be reasons for this .

I just can tell you that this RC fw will change you from
04.09.03.00 -----> 04.09.03.16
but I have no idea what it does. And I will not try out ;) maybe it puts down CE range or maybe not I will just not test it as there is no rollback even with reset option rollback will not work.

Though DJI says it changes very less its a very big file and no one knows what it is actually doing.

Can you tell me where exactly you found that? I put in a call to Drone Nerds (they sold it to me) and they believe it should show 1.00.00.30 in the app. They are going to try to update it on one of their Pro's and let me know. I'm not doubting and appreciate the response, but this is very confusing. I had a problem with my P3P and don't want a repeat (that was costly). Thanks again.

Basically you find the explaination in my first response. The "firmware" is one file but consists of many others which are most the same to 1.04.00.10 firmware. DJI just calls it 1.00.00.30 after the camera version because this is the difference why they made it.
