[Outta Control]

So my new Sandisk Extreme Plus was corrupting some of my 4K video files. I called Sandisk for a RMA. The tech support requested for me to test the disk's transfer rate. No it got me thinking to test all my MicroSD cards and see how they stack up. The connection setup is via adapter to Lexar USB 3.0 Professional Card Reader to a USB 3.0. Test was criteria is @ MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s]

So here are the results:

1) DJI stock Lexar 16GB 633x

Sequential Read : 34.845 MB/s

Sequential Write : 22.756 MB/s

Random Read 512KB : 34.017 MB/s

Random Write 512KB : 1.722 MB/s

Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 5.479 MB/s [ 1337.7 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 1.258 MB/s [ 307.2 IOPS]

Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 4.688 MB/s [ 1144.6 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 1.328 MB/s [ 324.3 IOPS]


Test : 1000 MB [K: 0.2% (0.0/14.9 GB)] (x5)

Sequential Write : 29.933 MB/s

Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 6.482 MB/s [ 1582.6 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 3.505 MB/s [ 855.8 IOPS]

Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 5.436 MB/s [ 1327.1 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 3.150 MB/s [ 769.1 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 3.591 MB/s [ 876.6 IOPS]

Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 5.665 MB/s [ 1383.1 IOPS]

Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 3.393 MB/s [ 828.3 IOPS]

Got this from my Sandisk Extreme Plus 32GB. Also use Lexar USB 3.0 Professional Card Reader to a USB 3.0.
