I am looking for a charger that will charge more than 1 battery at a time. I have one for my p3p, do they make one for the inspire batteries?

Please use the search function on the forum, it saves starting posts on subjects that have been covered many times before. Also can you please try and use more descriptive titles in the threads since "Charger" does not help people when they use the search function in instances exactly like this?
I have changed the thread title to 'Multiple charger for Inspire 1 batteries'.

Try HERE

Thank you.

DJI doesn't provide or recommend any other brand devices capable of charging more than one battery at a time. DJI charging hubs for either Phantom or Inspire accept up to four batteries, but they're rather a convenient organizers than simultaneously charging devices. They're simply distributing supplied charging current among 4 batteries in sequence, one after another until all are fully charged.
Having two different kinds of batteries to charge, the power supply must provide variable and precisely controlled voltages/currents outputs. These aren't cheap though, the one I've got cost around 250USD (eFuel 1200W Power Supply), but it has more than enough juice to charge 3 or 4 batteries at once. Please note, however, that DJI Smart Batteries will not accept charging currents bigger than perhaps 8A, therefore it's not really about much faster charging. It's about being able to charge a set of batteries at once and about flexibility.

That's really the only reason I use one (phantom, haven't gotten one yet for the Inspire). It doesn't charge any faster but it allows me to place all 4 batteries in and walk away. Many times I'll charge a single battery and forget when it's done and not start the second battery till the 2nd day. At that rate, it could take me a week to charge 4 batteries...lol.

I have the smart power charge charger and it works great! Charges 4 batteries, 2 ipad mini's, and 2 controllers at the same time!

Could you give me the name of your charger or a link to where I can buy one?????

I use this for charging P3P lipos at once (shown with my rc car lipos) on PB setting, can I do the same with Inspire batteries as I understand the smart Lipo software does the balancing?

No. It's not only the hardware/software controlled balancing issue. Inspire batteries are of totally different configuration than Phantom, different charging voltage and current.

With my charger above I can vary those (voltage and amps). In effect it's 4 separate chargers in my system....
Go for it! All you need is 4 sources of proper voltage and current, no more than 7-8A of power supply per each branch...You can't charge much faster, but at least simultaneously.

Although you can charge and discharge Inspire 1 batteries with a capable Lipo charger you do have to be careful. I would not recommend it to anyone that has not owned Lipo batteries and serviced them successfully. My suggestion is to buy the correct tool for the job. Smart Power Charger!

if you can do a little electrical wiring try a setup like mine . yes its as rough as a bag of spanners, but it cost £50 charges 4 tb48's and 1 tb47 all at the same time from flat in an hour and a half, never had a single problem with it. electricity is the same no matter how much money you spend on the equipment. they are intelligent batteries all the charging management is built in all you have to do is supply the right voltage and give enough current, my setup does that, al sourced off ebay.. not sure why the image doesnt display but click here

Unfortunately this is not true. The DC current can be as rough as the barb wire and need to be properly smoothened before reaching the battery. Which doesn't mean that your power supply is of poor quality. If it works for you it's all what counts ...

yeah you are right, it can vary but the cap's needed to smooth it are so cheap any half decent power supply will usually include them

This was my recent build
