I have left the Flight Mode Switch locked in P mode and always assumed that if I got into trouble with the GPS signal that it will auto switch to P-OPTI or P-ATTI mode to enable me to control the inspire. I have recently read on number of occasions where others have manually switched to A mode when they've had problems.
My question is - Should I activate Multiple Flight Mode so that I can manually switch to A mode in an emergency or can I just rely on the inspire doing it automatically.
(I am not an expert flyer but are pretty confident with flying)
