Never Forget 911

Do you remember where you were on 9/11??
I was working at Intel at the time. Morning attendance was taken @ 6:15 every morning. After 5 years working there I had perfect attendance. Despite doing gigs some nights before work, I never called in sick. Never. But 9/11 was different.
On 9/10 I had hooked up with an old female acquaintance. As you can imagine, we were up most of the night (I was a younger man then...<:^0 ). She lived in a suburb South of my city - about 40 miles from Intel. My alarm went off @ 5:AM. I just didn't feel like going. For the first time in 5 years I called in sick. It was the weirdest thing. I mean, it was a perfect storm of an all-nighter combined with a 40 mile trip and never having called in sick before, I just did it.
Well, as you can imagine the next morning I was watching TV and whatever show was on got interrupted by the news of the first tower. Needless to say, Deseri and I were glued to the TV for the next 5 hours or so. I'll never forget that morning.
