It appears the FAA is now letting you register your UAS on their site when used for commercial purposes now too.. I registered another one of mine and was given a registration number.. It appears that they are no longer giving N Numbers but FAxxxxxxxxx numbers for Drones for commercial operations like they did for hobby craft...

I was kinda hoping for a cool "N Number" like my real airplane... but oh well lol

I am sure you could still go through the manual paper process to get the N number

After all the trips to the notary and the rigamarole around the various forms, I am sticking with my 3 registered N numbers and the 3 more I have on reserve.
