Pardon the stupid question, but does the Inspire need to use an Apple (iPad, iPad Mini, etc)? Can it hook to a good Android tablet or smartphone?

Do you experience much delay\lag using the Tab S?It hooks up well. I run the app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S running 4.4 without problems
