No Signal after update, found a solution

I did my update to the new firmware, updated controller, did my IMU calibration and my compass calibration. went to do a test flight and it said no signal. It showed all the data like everything was OK and had 15 satellites etc, But red NO SIGNAL on controller and the light on the inspire was a solid purple. My aircraft was in its normal landing stance. I tried the reseating the micro card no effect. Then I notice on the controller it was showing that I was in Travel Mode. I thought travel mode is when the landing gear is straight out horizontally so it fits in the case. I figured I had nothing to lose so I hit the button on the app to take it out of travel mode. Everything was just fine, I now had video and the "no signal" was gone . Flew for 17 minutes and everything was back to normal. I see a lot of No Signal post so I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

You were in the new "about to switch to travel mode" condition, and the tail light was likely blue as a hint.
