Nvidia Shield K1 tablet

i am looking for a small tablet with hdmi output to use with my Mavic (when it turns up!) it will also be used a a tablet for my inspire.

Any advice before I spend the money - anyone using one on an inspire?

Can I use the Shield with the master controller and an iPad on the slave controller? I guess the Inspire does not know what tablet is connected but I wanted to check there will be no problems first?

I run iPad Air 2 & shield, no problem at all.
