Osmo + Compatability With Inspire 1

Anybody able to try Osmo +, to see if it will work on inspire? Saw 1 today at Micro Center, has the same gimball and the square contact pad at top looks the same as inspire.

From the info. I have read, it comes down to frimware ,being the reason they are not compatible,Osmo+ and z3 are the same camera.

Man..I was just about to buy the osmo pro to also use the x5 camera on my inspire. Why would they do this, I could've sworn I saw I could put that x5 on my inspire.

X5 is compatible with Inspire 1 and Osmo. It's the black Osmo camera and Osmo+ camera that are not.

Simple to get more money out of you. The z3 and the osmo zoom are basically the same camera from the looks of it. One cost 500 dollars and the other 900. It's their marketing strategies to get you to buy more of their products. Same reason they will not build the x4 to work on the I1. They want you to buy the I2 and if you want the better camera you'll have to buy the I2.

I will try to retain some of my hard earned money by purchasing the osmo pro and use the x5 interchangeably with inspire 1 v2 and sell the camera that comes with the inspire as long as the x5 has the same or better zoom capabilities. Anyone know?

Zoom comes with which lens you put on it.
