Practice pics with my Z3

The weather was finally nice enough to try out the Z3 camera on my I1v2. Everything was set on auto and no editing.

zooms pretty cool huh? did you zoom via the device screen or the button and wheel combo?

I do love the zoom. That was one of the things I’ve missed not having on the X3. I did use the wheel.

only thing disappointing is zoom in video only does 3.5 optical. you cants use the digital zoom like for the pictures

Would you mind explaining how to use the wheel and button for the z3?

If you take the C1 or the C2 don’t remember which one now it’s on the right-hand side underneath the controller if you hold it in and turn the wheel on the left-hand side it will zoom in and zoom out.

What you can do if you want the extra digital zoom is do it in your editing software, I use FXPX and it works fine, and if you use what is called the Ken Burns effect you can animate your digital zoom and Pan works very well.
