Question on zoom lens

I recently purchased a second inspire pro with x5 camera, I am interested in purchasing a zoom camera and was thinking of getting the Z3, but was also reading about the Olympus 14-42mm zoom to use on my X5 and is a lot cheaper. Which one would be better and put out better quality pics.

I had an Inspire 1 and tried the Oly 14-42 only once. It was a terrible fit to the camera, had to force it on and then it was lousy. I sold it right away on ebay.
Later I got a Z3 and loved it.
Here is a video I shot with it. The AC was in a stationary hover the entire time from about 100 feet away. It was also pretty windy, but you don't see that in the video.
