Remote solid tone and purple light. Turns off/won’t stay on

My slave remote for I2 keeps shutting down. When I double tap to power up it has a solid tone/ purple light and shuts down after a couple of seconds.
Any thoughts on why?
It worked fine a week ago

You may want to leave it on to drain the battery as much as possible and then recharge. Battery may need to fully discharge. Just a guess.
 
Thanks. It will only stay on for 2 seconds and then shuts down.
Battery shows 3/4 charge right now
