Yes, it did. They always gets a little too close for comfort. So far... they crashed "only" one Mavic Pro the last year....

I was filming a Red Kite nesting site earlier this year and they were eyeing up the inspire. I did a bit of a dance with the sticks and then headed away from them flat out. Seemed to make them back off as im sure the movements were very alien to them.

I have the idea that they are more curious then aggressive....

look closely at center of picture to find a nesting place for a large bird of some kind. Nest looks to be about three feet across with sticks at at least one inch diameter. Have not seen what put it together,but must be large.

I think this is a guard bird and wants you to stay away from this area.
This happens to me every Spring when birds are nesting.
