hi all
trying to understand my x5 camera - I have DLSR experience
but something that i cannot understand is why my all stills photos taken at night in urban areas
are coming out with to much yellow I tryed few setting most of them based on DLOG and AWB and fix it in post
but cannot get any good results
any ideas ???

I don't think D-Log makes any sense for still photos; it's intended to be used for video.

Are you shooting in raw or JPG mode? If JPG mode, please try raw mode instead, and see if you get different results.

And as always, an example would be helpful.

Use raw mode and select the white balance manually based on the type of lighting in the scene

When shooting in raw mode, the white balance chosen by the camera is not baked into the image, so it doesn't really matter. You can pick the appropriate white balance in your editing software (Lightroom, etc.)
