Morning,

For now, I use a micro SD card of 128gb because this is for enough for my usage. Because I fly a lot for my work, I have accumulated quite a lot of KLM airmiles. One item in the Flying Blue store that caught my interest was a 240gb Sony SSD card.
So, my question... Is the SSD a standard which means, will this card fit in my Inspire 2?
And secondly..... how do you remove the end cap for that. Mine seems fairly stuck

Thanks

The SSD might still be of use to you - you could probably buy an external USB 3 case and use it as an external drive to dump images to when you're in the field. Or add it as a fast drive to your laptop or desktop computer.

But, it won't fit/work inside the I2 - DJI know they can make good profits from the sales of the CineSSD cards, so they've made a commercial decision to lock you in to only being able to use their parts. Because it's only a small market for their equipment, we're not going to see 3rd parties reverse engineering or producing the SSD's.

For the same reasons, you have to buy the CineStation reader to download the images. It would be great if they worked with people like G-Tech to make a fast reader to go in the Gtech shuttle drives (like they have RedMag, CFast and Atomos readers), but it isn't going to happen :(
