Swap master/slave controllers

Hello,

I have a master remote that has a range extender installed into it from previous owner. I got a new remote that is full stock.

What I want to do is use the one with Range extender as master when I'm running dual remote and stock as the slave.
But when I'll fly alone I would like to use the stock remote as the master, because the modified remote is larger and doesn't fit in the case. So it's easier for me to carry to places when doing flying on my own.

I tried swapping the slave to master but then it would not connect. Also tried master to slave and nothing. But once I put things back to normal then they all connected.
Can it not be swapped on the go before turning the AC on?

You have to turn the current slave remote on, switch it to master in the Go App, then sync the remote and aircraft.

You should then be able to switch the other to slave.

When you say sync the remote and aircraft? You mean do the binding process by pressing the button on the aorcraft?
