TB 48's "Not available in your region"

Been talked about many times, Lipo's over 100wh can not be transported by aircraft and as such have to be either road or a slow boat, DJI can not ship them from CN to UK directly to customers , you have to source with in UK

Likely this is gong to get worse over time.

Forgive me for contradicting you. IATA regulations allow carriage of Lipos on aircraft up to 160h IF approved by airline. No approval necessary up to 100h.

The commercial transport airlines have set 100WH limit Iv been told.

No not as far as I was informed just have to buy through dealers not DJI direct , you also can't buy the P3 HDMI board now either via the DJI site in the UK, been told that may be a Tax issue but not sure on that TBH.

The other issue is most UK carriers won't even carry lipo now as a standalone unit,

That's if you tell them obviously ;)

The aircraft till may be wrong and it could just be a UK carrier thing but that's what I was told when I enquired.

There are still plenty available from FleaBay (I have bought many that way).
I don't want to know how they got them in the country and I don't ask!

Still would like too know what's DJI's policy is and whether they will continue with them given they are no longer available in their UK store.

They are available in other regions and will continue to be so, I would suggest emailing DJI store if you still want more info as not sure what else can be said on here that's not been said already.

it's shipping restrictions it's that simple.

Remember DJI ship a lot of stuff from Carson in the US now so can get around these restrictions but shipping on slow boat then distributing locally

They do not do this in the Uk or EU Currently, if they do then they may become available again on the UK via DJI store.

Dear XXXXXXs:
On April 1, 2016, a new rule regarding air freight transportation of lithium battery will be effective according to a regulation issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) . Therefore, DJI is introducing a new version of batteries based on the regulation requirements and ceases supply of the old batteries.

So after huge amounts of R&D and extensive alterations to the production process and endless redesign meetings and hiring in outside consultants on battery technology, DJI have totally changed the Inspire range of batteries and.......... Altered the label. :p

Some more info on this

U.K. P3/4 HDMI Board and TB48

DJI have opened a UK warehouse now, seems to have gone live just before the P4 launch, as such all UK ordered are now shipped from there, my last 2 DJI ordered have done so so this lines up.

Sadly there is currently no stock of the HDMI board or TB48 in the UK warehouse so it's been removed from the store for UK customers, could not get an answer on if or when they will be available, was told to try UK DJI dealers instead.

So any stock differences between stores is due to the new UK warehouse.

Have ALWAYS got my 48's from FleaBay (100% feedback sellers only).
Have never had an issue - I don't know where they come from, how they get here and I ask no questions:rolleyes:
