GOP rep unveils bill barring feds from using drones to monitor citizens, amid coronavirus enforcement concerns

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., is introducing a bill to prevent the federal government from using drones to spy on U.S. citizens -- amid concern about the use of drones by authorities in the U.S. and abroad to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

This bill doesn't have a chance. And if it did, it would be overturned in court almost immediately. It's just another tool in Law Enforcement's tool belt. Its no different than the Police using a set of Binoculars. Yes, if you want to split hairs and say, well they were flying over my private property and thus able to see what I am doing in my back yard over my 10ft fence. That's not the case. Public place if fair game to me. Part of the Plain View doctrine.

My motto, don't do anything in public that your mother would be ashamed of.
