Updating firmware via non official iOS app

Can someone please tell me if my inspire1/remote/etc needs a firmware update? (see attached photos)

I tried updating the firmware by downloading the latest off of DJI's website and putting the files onto a SD card and then into the camera, but when I power on the i1, the app just says the firmware is up to date. Nothing happens.

Is this something I can trust? or since the app is not official is it just saying that because its not actually talking to DJI's servers? (I'm on iOS btw)

Yep, good to go. It doesn't matter what app version you have you would still get a fw version error if things were not right.
