I have a project going to fit a FLIR Duo R camera to my Inspire 2.
So far I have mounted the FLIR onto a body cap for the X5s so basically no lens on it. Separate transmitter for the IR feed back to a monitor.
All working fine apart from buzzing and vibration from the gimbal. I put this down to imbalance and have put weights on to balance it up but the vibration and buzzing is still there. Tried calibrating it but no difference.
There are no problems when the X5s has a lens fitted so I'm wondering if it is seeing a problem with no lens on.
Grateful for any advice on this as I don't want to knacker the gimbal.
