Visual observer pay rate?

Opinions and thoughts please... So most of the time I have a "built in" visual observer with my co-worker but on those occasions when he's not available I will need to hire someone to be the VO. What would someone who understands UAV video work, the in/outs of flying the Inspire 1, and the responsibilities of a VO be worth per hour?

My wife is my VO, when my other flying buddies are not available. She is pretty good at it and works for tips!

I guess it depends but assuming the VO has some training and experience then I'd say $15/hr as a minimum but probably not more than $20/hr for that work. I think having someone that knows the rules and is reliable warrants more than minimum wage.

If the VO is a pilot and sometimes flies the missions then add about $10/hr to the above...
