Thank you for the inputs. They seen solids. When I get back home I will try to share the connector pins.

I dont aee anything obvious jumping out of me. I thinking clean the contacts with alcohol but not sure as when it dries it leaves a small white film?

your good. you s tech?
Ok. The contacts aren't the problem. Next thing to check is the cables ( DJI Inspire 1 Part 17 Fast-Mounting Gimbal Port Cable DJI RC Drone Quadcopter 6958265115257 | eBay ) that connect the mount to the 'N-Core' at the front.
One may be loose or damaged.
The other thing that could be the problem is the Gimbal port PCB board. ( DJI Inspire 1 Part 30 Gimbal Port PCBA for Inspire 1 RC FPV Quadcopter I3T2 603983327111 | eBay )

Gentleman just a FYI. I wont be able to use THIS drone for a couple of weeks. I cant bring it will me. I also need to get over my fear of taking apart 1200.00. It looks easy enough. Ironically I have those two cables. I will post up when I get back. I am thankful for you guys help but on a temp standby. Thank you.

I am having the same issue. The camera rotates fine upon start up. I have entered in free mode, nothing. When I am in follow mode it will pan about 5 degrees left and right when I move the stick that way. It will not tilt. I have completed all checks I know of and no issues with the pins.

I bought the cable and PCB that were recommended. I hope to have time to replace today. Yeah I know but former military just remove and re

The problem of the bent camera contacts is a consequence of the wrong installation of the cover. according to recommendations it should be placed on the marker on the right - this is a big error leading to spoilage of contacts. If you put the lid - put a marker back from the clamp marker, only then the guides to enter the holes and there is no contact with the lid pins on the cat. But it's probably better not to put the lid on, if you use the case.
I found this error after losing the video signal at myself and then correcting the contacts and analyzing the cause of their damage.

Is there a good way to straighten a pin, I've got one slightly bent, camera not working....
