X5R Camera appears to be working, but no image within DJIGo App

So, after having my OSMO X5R kit (and several external lenses) for several days I just had the chance to give it a test run.

Problem is: image feed on my cell.

Now, I have another OSMO with the X3 camera, so I know it pretty well. Plus I bought an Inspire when it first came out, so there's that.

Here's what I can tell you about today's venture.:
1. batteries were fine.
2. when I change the 'stops' using the little ring on the lens itself (the DJI lens that came with the X5R) it changes on the DJIGo app as well, so I know everything is 'in sync' between the app and the lens.
3. histogram on the app changes when I run my hand over the front of the lens- so it's reading light.
4. Same issues with a different lens (Olympus 45mm f1.8)
5. phone is Samsung Galaxy S4
6. Working in Auto mode still yielded a blank screen.
7. I love pizza.

Any ideas? I'm completely sure it's something I'm doing wrong... I just don't know what.

Hi,
I had the exact same issue on my X5 the other day. Frustrated I had to leave a shoot (luckily not very important), without being able to fix it in the field. Or so I thought. (I deleted the video cache in the field with no luck)

When I got back home I tried to deleted also the photo cache, then, upon restart, the image was back.
