    The idea is not to fake the effect but film in proper anamorphic, I'd also not be happy jamming a bit of cardboard inside my lens. So yes the the explanation of how to fake it would be a waste of time.

    I'd be interested in trying the MFT Anamorphic lens from Sirui, this seems to be getting some reasonable reviews. https://cf.sirui.com/Anamorphic-Lens.html Weight is 560g may be that this is a bit cumbersome or heavy for the I2? Any other anamorphic options available?
