    Repurposing old DJI batteries...

We had them here in Korea for a bit too, for 260,000₩ (~182 USD), but now they're all sold out again. Still listed on their store page with a notification alter for stock, though, so maybe they'll be back. But I do think I'm going to jump on the M3 Classic train...

    Repurposing old DJI batteries...

This is pretty great. I get what matteog is saying about having batteries replaced/regenerated, but this is a real dynamite way to keep using the old and weak should it not be worth it financially to send them off.

Inspire 1 CAN-BUS upgrade, DJI Focus

Are you talking about the DJI Focus wireless unit, or the Focus Handwheel? As far as I know, they have different connections to the wheel unit - the Handwheel having the same connector on both ends (which is used to connect to the front of the Osmo), and the Focus having a lemo-type connector...

    Help my inspire out...

This seems to be similar to what happened to me when I took over the office Inspire 1 that hadn't been flown in years. It had apparently gotten a bit dinged up, and so the X5 camera was in a service centre somewhere and had never been picked up. We had an X3 with an Osmo handle, and so I had a...

    Inspire 1 repair story.

That's quite the tale! I've had overall a pretty **** good time with them too, considering the horror stories you sometimes hear going around! Here in Korea, especially, a lot of these companies pride themselves on their customer service and speed, and I've had that in spades with DJI Korea.

Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?

Thanks for following up on this dougcjohn. Yeah I got a generic response from DJI Korea when asking about being able to order and then ship directly to other countries - ‘DJI Korea services only Korea. Those in the US or Canada should ask their DJI provider directly.’ …which is frustrating, as I...

Is it worth buying Inspire 1 Pro in 2022?

Well, I was given a generic email response... Essentially, "DJI Korea only services Korea, and those in NA should contact their DJI branch directly." No help there. If I'm feeling particularly up to it one day I might try and call them directly.

Is it worth buying Inspire 1 Pro in 2022?

Glad the pics were helpful, Donnie. And it's interesting to see the various responses from DJI around the world regarding availability of products! I actually live on Jeju Island, off the south coast of Korea, and I've never actually seen a big DJI store up in Seoul. I originally went through...

Is it worth buying Inspire 1 Pro in 2022?

Hey Donnie, JD There's anther recent thread on the forum (Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?) where I mentioned I can buy new TB48s here in South Korea. I purchased two earlier last year. Their manufacture date is 04/2021, and when I emailed DJI Korea to inquire again I made sure to ask where...

Is it worth buying Inspire 1 Pro in 2022?

I joined the Inspire 1 game quite late myself (late 2020), and had a crash with the X5R that cost total over 600 USD to fix (which was less than I'd thought it would be TBH). But if you're not in it for business or don't need raw/pro res video, then I'd go with something smaller and more modern...

Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?

Well I checked, and it ain't looking good. They said the only way you can bring batteries back and forth is to actually carry them. If they're sent in a parcel, then they'd get x-rayed and discovered either on this end or on that end.

Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?

I've had those same thoughts, Doug. I've got to pop into the post office later today. I'll bring a TB48 and see what they say.

Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?

I'm in South Korea myself. Yeah, I'm sure we could figure out a way to make it work. I guess the buyer would just pay for the shipping and I'd pop them in the mail. I've never tried to ship batteries overseas before... I could also ask if there's a way to get them shipped directly to NA.

Anywhere to buy TB47 or TB48 still?

Whoops! Missed this reply here... I'd think that if anyone here wanted to place an order that they'd have to go through me. I can't imagine that an order placed through DJI Korea would ship to NA.

Crashed Inspire 1 - worth getting a repair quote?

Yup, done and done, Perry. That's also a reason why I wanted to send it in - to see how much it would be and also to have DJI make sure everything was ship shape. So with shipping to HK on my dime, getting the drone itself and X5R fixed, and then the customs fee upon arrival cost me a total of...
