    Possible Magnetic Interference?

The .DAT log file created by the Go App will probably have the info needed to see the cause. The .txt isn't enough because it doesn't contain magnetometer data. To see how to retrieve the .DAT look here Mavic Flight Log Retrieval and Analysis Guide Section 3, Mobile device DAT files (DJI GO 4 &...

    Inspire 1 - Extremely Unstable

There is a good chance that the .DAT log will reveal what causes this. Can you retrieve and provide it via a public sharing site like Dropbox, GoogleDrive, or similar? Look here How to retrieve a .DAT to see how to retrieve the .DAT

attempted Inspire 1 shoot down over neighbor's yard... need help synching flight data for police

I agree with the posts here that 1) may be best to not be involved 2) a flight log won't add much to the case against him. But, there is a .DAT log file on the I1 itself that didn't get erased. To see how to retrieve it look here Retrieving a .DAT from the P3 or Inspire

Must launch from garage roof - suggestions?

In the end the OP is still going to have to decide if the I2 is far enough from any ferrous material for safe flight. Checking for orientation consistency is the best way to know if it's safe to launch. Many fly aways have occurred with the Go App showing acceptable interference levels (in the...

Must launch from garage roof - suggestions?

I suppose it's possible for the rebar to become slightly magnetized - a "hard iron" effect. But, the rebar will still bend and distort the geomagnetic field - the "soft iron" effect. Both effects will cause the geomagnetic field to be distorted at most points around the rebar. It's just a...

Must launch from garage roof - suggestions?

The single most effective method to prevent a fly away is to check that the heading shown on the map display agrees with the actual orientation of the AC. If they don't agree that means the AC, for whatever reason, has the wrong heading value and erratic flight and/or flyaway is likely. One...

Help Figuring Out Why The Motors Won't Spin Up

The .DAT log file may have some useful info. DatCon will let you look at the .DAT. http://datfile.net/DatCon/intro.html Any answer is probably in the eventLog stream. If you Dropbox the .DAT here I'll take a look.

Inspire 2 motor blown off and crashed

I can't see from your picture that a motor is missing. But, then I don't own an I2 so I don't know what to expect. I'll take your word for it though:). The data is also consistent with a lost motor. One thing I did notice is that the EscTemp is lower on the leftBack by about 5° C for the entire...

Inspire 2 motor blown off and crashed

By "suddenly one of motors just blown off and fly away" I assume what you meant was that a propeller came loose and flew away. That's what is shown by the .DAT log. At time 863 secs the leftBack motorSpeed increased, motorCurrent decreased, and motorCommanded went to 100% Also the I2 began to...

I2 flips when I try to take off, can't even go 10-20 cm up then flips to one side !!!

OK, then. That makes the gyro data consistent with the video. Glad you got it figured out.

I2 flips when I try to take off, can't even go 10-20 cm up then flips to one side !!!

Referring to the video posted in post #30. Is the I2 facing away from you? Or, is it facing towards you?

I2 flips when I try to take off, can't even go 10-20 cm up then flips to one side !!!

Glad to hear this. Have you actually flown the I2 since correcting the wiring? The reason I ask is that the motor data and video are consistent; i.e. the motor wiring has to be correct. This assumes that the I2 is facing away from you? The fact that you had several flights without incident...

I2 flips when I try to take off, can't even go 10-20 cm up then flips to one side !!!

The cause is that the X axis gyro data shows the I2 is rolling CW when it isn't actually rolling CW. This is clear from the video. The motors are then commanded to roll CCW which causes it to flip to the left. In this plot roll, gyroX and integrated gyroX all show an initial CW roll. Here it...
