    TB50's Dead?

Well call me crazy (or anything you'd like), but I brought my I2 out of hibernation for the first time in perhaps 2 years. I have 5 sets of TB50 batteries and 3 sets surprisingly still had a bit of trickle left in them. 1 set show signs of bulging so those are a loss and the other set the...

SkyDance and Pixis Drones Raid Houston Texas

Wow, that was cool. Was always curious about the behind the scenes.

Any reason why it would be dangerous for young children to operate the I2 slave controller on a family trip?

As the RPIC, you should have a plan of what's going to happen in the event that something does happen. If you're there for immediate take over of the controls and the kids have an idea of what may happen, you may be okay. I have older aged grandkids (teens) and even they were intimated by the...

    Olympus 12mm Focus Issue

I have the Olympus pancake zoom and have had nothing with focus issues with it too. Very disappointing for Olympus. I've tried lens calibration and I'm hoping maybe I'm not doing the calibration correctly so I'm anxious to hear about your replies.

    FAA RPIC/Part 107 . . . they don't "Expire"

If I may play the devils advocate, it may not necessarily be a Part 107 pilot that's always breaking the rules. Granted, I'm sure there's a percentage of them that do but these fools that totally break the law should be grounded forever (if there ever was a way).

    FAA Part 107 training/testing pushed to 3/16/21

I just took my recurrent on the 24th of Feb. When I arranged for my test (through PSI), they didn't seem to have any idea of the changes coming. Any idea how well this is being disseminated throughout the testing facilities? I also visited the FAASafety.gov site (as mentioned through Pilot...

    TB50 Issue.

I've never used the self heating feature myself. Thought I read somewhere 3 times on the power. Is there any indicators its in heater mode? Very strange in deed.

    TB50 Issue.

Just out of curiosity, did you use the batteries onboard heater (by pushing power button 3 times)?

    Aloha from Oahu!

I was stationed in Hawaii while in the Navy. Today's drones didn't exist back then but I am sooo envious of the scenery at your disposal. I'm curious, do you have a gimbal system for your DSLR and if so what do you use? If you don't have one, I would suggest getting into that as well for your...

    New guy from Texas

Welcome to the world. Watch out though, it can consume you quite rapidly! Mine started off as simple Christmas presents 2 years ago, now its a business trying to get off the ground!

    solar site surveys question

I was gearing up to do some thermal inspections of oil storage tanks in Cushing, OK when the pandemic started. I was going to charge $175 per hr. $75 is dirt cheap for the technology involved.

    FAA fines drone "pilot"

For some reason the time and money invested in getting a certificate aren't that bad after all!

Absolutely stunning. I was curious how you ever got on location to capture such remote footage. My hat off to you for your accomplishments!
