I’m sticking with the stock antennas for now. They seem better then the patch. Also bummed the sliders don’t work. I can make good use of those! Like tilting FPV camera rather then using the hold down combination. Perhaps also adjusting the gains of the bird.

I went straight to the sticks because I heard it doesn't give a significant enough upgrade. Hopefully it's just a software tune they can make better in the future. For now I'm plenty happy with the reception without the patch antenna. Plus it shaves off a little bulkiness and weight.

Yeah, You're right. It doesn't fit correctly. I noticed if I slightly tilt the remote towards the center while closing the case it will fit. This is without the patch antenna on. I haven't tried it that way yet.
