I repair the X3 gimbals. Not sure it is fixable but I would be glad to try. No charge if I can't. I do have some used X3 gimbals and it probably would be cheaper to swap it out. I am in Upstate NY if you are nearby

My thoughts are that the x5s requires different firmware. I am not sure you can just swap from an x4s to an x5s

I am working on several X3 gimbals that someone totally took apart. Magnetic nuts and all. I have about 12 or so. I have managed to get half of them working perfectly. No small task. I will try to put together a procedure for doing this. Anyone interested now can contact me.

They look the same but they are different. If you replace say the yaw ESC, you may have to adjust the nut a touch. Same with the other ones. If it has a “Y” mark on it it is for the yaw. P is for pitch and R is for the roll.
