No. I had to calibrate both sticks on the controller through the app on my tablet. There's a RC calibrate option within the app.

I have one of these on order and I'm pretty excited about using it. I never push the limits on my P3 but this very affordable mod should decrease any chances of possible signal losses (within reason of course.)

why wouldn't they? I've always had 30 day returns on everything bought and fulfilled through Amazon. (obviously I couldn't return it if something goes wrong and I break it.)

okay, I figured it out. Apparently the RC needed to be calibrated. I look in the manual under the RC blinking light status section and it didn't say anything about the constant beeping sound. so much for good instructions from the manual. thanks for replying....

Okay, just got my Inspire 1, charged up the controller and the main battery. I turn on the controller and it's constantly beeping with the red light flashing. what am I doing wrong already? I sure hope this isn't a sign of many things to come...

This is the first time I have heard someone tell someone to power up an aircraft without the controller being powered up first. I'm sure you know what you're talking about but it does seem kinda risky.
