WARNING IOS 11.2.5 Do Not Update.

Definitely a little harsh but keeping up with iOS (and Android) development is essential since so much of the experience is delivered through it. Always room for improvement... Always looking for more market. All things considered, I get what they are doing and think DJI has grown in leaps...

Did you shoot in Chicago over the lake on Wed?

Looking for footage or stills from last wednesday 4/26 off shore around Belmont. I was sailing the only boat in the area. Saw an Inspire 2 pro hovering nice and close. I figure the footage must be quite nice. Love t have it if possible

    Haven't flown in ages.

Sad but true. Just recently sold an S800 ariel package and while I dug that out, I decided to grab an inspire and get it ready to shoot the harbor. Inspire V1 does a great job. The batteries however... 4 out of 5 dead in the case after 6 months hibernation.

Outstanding. The event, your shooting, editing, choice of music. Yup. Nice!

    Cold weather?

I've flown in temps in the mid 20'sF Got OK flight times (aprox12min) by keeping the batteries warm till ready to fly (in photo vest pockets under my outdoor coat). Batteries wore neoprene inserts and the battery carrier on the AC was enclosed in self adhesive neoprene. I kept a close eye on...

Some footage I captured and edited for a friend. Shot in New York City.

Nice video. Given the focal length of the lens, you couldn't be more than 75-100 ft over the roof... Would hope to never see a manned craft buzz that close unless it was an emergency services aircraft. Thant said, in Manhattan, I think you can always expect the practice to raise eyebrows...

    Stable, affordable and AVAILABLE stand?

Got mine already! Wow, this is a simple, elegant solution to raising your OSMO up and moving around in spaces you'd never fly in or couldn't reach. Clicks in securely with no need to mess with the threaded anchor point on the handle so, in seconds, I'm ready to fly! (also smoothes your z-axis...

    Stable, affordable and AVAILABLE stand?

Hey David, in the picture here, looks like you have the part of the stand that grabs the handle without a base... Hmmm Thinking I can use that to connect the stand to lengths of tubing. Have you thought about that? Love to get a couple to play with the idea. I jury rigged your grand stand to...

Case for DJI Osmo + Inspire X3

So a few things you'll find on the forum about packing your OSMO. The stock case is not that sturdy so I'd be hesitant to stuff in in a backpack and run. $600 buck camera deserves better, plus where do you keep batteries, chargers etc? If you have your Inspire going on the trip, heres what...
