No option to cache maps in Go App with Crystalsky

The Go APp does not, does not, support any mapping. It will show your route travelled, but no maps. I struggled with this for 3 months with DJI. And my Inspire v2 1 Pro. BAsically false advertising.

    Mapbox frustration...

Phil Thanks for your kind response. I have been working with DJI for 2-3 months now. On the phone, 3 Techs could not get it straight I was using CS with an Inspire 1. Then I got one who started texting with me. And every 2-3-4 days, we went back and forth. In the end, the folks down the hall...

Looking at buying an Inspire 1 V2 with the x3 camera and hoping to find original owner prior to purchasing

The blades could be solid gold. But the strock ones are far cheaper and work quite well. And I asked to check for Completed Items. I have tracked these prices for complete setups and individual items. They have dumped a bit. What I paid $1800 for a year ago? Can be had, the identical...

    Drone to Camera Orientation

Qstn I have flown RC Planes for a long time. Since rubber band escapements and Galloping Ghost. The hardest part of learning to fly without re-kitting the airplane is, when it is pointed at you. Then if you do left ailerons, it goes right. Technically, if you always kept the rear of the...

Check eBay Completed listings. Inspire 1 prices have tanked the past year.

    Interesting Thought

The Remote has an Led panel that replaces the iPhone or iPad. One less thing to worry about. I view the Inspire series and the Mini 3 as two distinct, seperate tools to use for photography. Factors such as price, stability, longevity, camera(s), all play a part. I suggest you view the...

    Interesting Thought

All I was trying to explain, the Common Core of programming, that does not change from one unit to another, would be useful for DJI. Features could be turned on and off based on the model. And would reduce errors in the code. I do not know the I2 well enough. But I do like the vertical...

    Exposure Settings

It appears my X5 camera, the sensor has four stops above and below the median stop. Using ISO, the lowest would be 100, median is 1600 and max is 25,600. A nine stop range.

    Exposure Settings

In still camera photography, the method for setting exposure is fairly well known. The Sunny Sixteen Rule is the simplest. There are three factors. F Stop, Length of Exposure and rated ISO Setting (Which used to be the speed of the film). On an average sunny day with an average scene in...

    Exposure Settings

Has anyone worked out exposure settings using an external light meter and a gray card?

    Interesting Thought

DJI has introduced the Mini 3. The core firmware that actually controls the thing, has alot of nice features. If, the design was thought thru, that same set of features (and more) could be migrated to the Inspire 3. One more way to minimize issues and have one nice package in the Inspire 3...
